COVID-19 and Your Medical Care at All for Women Healthcare

To All Patients: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented the following recommended CDC and IDPH protocols to safeguard patients and staff in our offices.

1) If you have a fever, coughing, shortness of breath, or exhibit any signs of illness, you will not be seen and must go home. Please do not make an appointment if you are ill with these symptoms.

2) All staff and patients are required to wear face masks. You may bring your own or we will supply you with a disposable mask that you can take home with you. You must wear a mask or you will not be asked to leave the office.

3) No more than one visitor is allowed per patient in the waiting room.

4) Social distancing must be maintained in the waiting room. If there are five people in the waiting room (patients and guests), additional people will be asked to wait in the hallway while maintaining social distancing. Priority will be giving to patients in the waiting room.

5) Visitors are not permitted in exam rooms unless they are necessary to assist the patient, or to serve as a translator. We do have translators on-staff for Spanish, Chinese, and Tagolog (Filipino).

5) We have temporarily suspended our "Missed Appointment" policy, but we do ask patients not to make an appointment which cannot be kept (in-office or Telehealth). We are trying to limit our office hours to minimize the staff's exposure. Missing an appointment takes away appointments from other patients and needlessly requires us to remain open due to that missed appointment in the schedule.

In addition, we want to assure all patients that, throughout the day, we wipe and sanitize all areas of human contact including the waiting room chairs, tables, door handles, sinks, and such, along with areas in every exam room and the patient restroom.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We hope this crisis comes to an end someday soon. Until then, please be safe, maintain social distancing, and stay home as much as possible..
