To All Patients: In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have implemented the following recommended CDC and IDPH protocols to safeguard patients and staff in our offices.
1) If you have a fever, coughing, shortness of breath, or exhibit any signs of illness, you will not be seen and must go home. Please do not make an appointment if you are ill with these symptoms.
2) All staff and patients are required to wear face masks. Masks must be worn at all times while in the office areas, even if you have been vaccinated. You may bring your own mask, or we will supply you with a disposable surgical mask you can take home. The mask must completely cover your mouth and nose. Anyone refusing to wear a mask will be asked to leave the office.
3) No more than one visitor is allowed per patient in the waiting room. Patients get priority seating over visitors (unless the visitor is there to lend assistance to the patient). Patients and their visitor may sit together, but must follow social distancing from others.
4) Social distancing (minimum 6 feet) must be maintained in the waiting room. If the waiting room is at a safe capacity (patients and visitors), additional people will be asked to wait in the hallway (maintaining social distancing) or in their vehicle. Seating priority will be given to patients in the waiting room.
5) Visitors are not permitted in exam rooms unless they are there to assist the patient, or act as translator. We also have translators on-staff for Spanish and Filipino (Tagalog and Cebuano).
In addition, we want to assure our patients that, throughout the day, we wipe and sanitize all areas of human contact including the waiting room chairs, tables, door handles, and sinks, along with contact areas in every exam room, the lab, and the patient restroom.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Until this crisis comes to an end, please be safe, maintain social distancing, and wear a mask when possible.
