The nurse practitioner (NP) plays a vital role in healthcare and has become the provider of choice for millions of Americans. They have the clinical knowledge and experience to diagnose and treat health conditions. As fully licensed heath care professionals, they can order, perform, and interpret diagnostics tests; prescribe medications and treatments; counsel and educate patients; and manage patients' overall healthcare.

We are proud to announce the addition of Alissa Roberts, a fully licensed nurse practitioner, to our medical staff at All for Women Healthcare. She brings her medical expertise and a warm bedside manner to all our patients.

Alissa is a Board Certified Nurse Practitioner in Family Practice. She received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing from Lakeview College of Nursing in Charleston, Illinois, in 2010. She received a Masters of Science degree in Nursing from Chicago's Resurrection University, in 2015. In addition to her extensive training, Alissa has seven years of experience as a Registered Nurse.

Alissa began her career in Medical/ Telemetry, then transitioned to the Intensive Care Unit for an additional five years. She has been with Dr. Tam since October. In addition to her seven years of medical experience, she was also taught by Dr. Tam, in procedures and methodology unique to the field of gynecology,

Having Alissa on our medical team means that patients now have a choice in seeing Dr. Tam or her. With Dr. Tam's schedule often filled, Alissa now offers new patients and those returning for their annual exams, the ability to schedule their appointments sooner while receiving the same excellent care they have come to expect from All for Women Healthcare.

If your next appointment is for a routine yearly exam or if you are a new patient, why not request an appointment with Alissa Roberts. You can still request an appointment with Dr. Tam, of course, particularly if you have medical concerns that may require surgery or more advance treatment, but in all other cases, you will receive the same level of medical care and personal attention with Alissa.

To make your appointment with Alissa, please call our office at 773-904-8641.
